the Gadget District Return Policy (Uganda)

At Gadget District, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review our return policy below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Items may be returned within 7 days from the date of delivery within Uganda.
  • Products must be unused, in original condition, and returned with original packaging, accessories, manuals, and seals.
  • A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items damaged due to misuse, water damage, power surges, or mishandling
  • Products that have been opened, altered, or repaired by unauthorized technicians
  • Items with removed or damaged serial numbers
  • Software, downloadable products, or unsealed accessories (where applicable)
  • Clearance, discounted, or promotional items marked “Final Sale”

3. Defective or Damaged Items

  • If you receive a defective, incorrect, or damaged item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customers may be required to provide photos or videos for verification.
  • Once verified, Gadget District will offer a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the product and availability.

4. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact Gadget District customer support with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for approval and return instructions.
  3. Return the item to our designated Kampala return location or via an approved courier.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

5. Refunds

  • After the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method, including Mobile Money or bank transfer, where applicable.
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error by Gadget District.

6. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
  • If an exchange item is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered.

7. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return transport costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.
  • Gadget District is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

8. Warranty & Manufacturer Support

  • Some electronic products may come with a manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Warranty claims may require inspection by an authorized service center in Uganda.
